In response to the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, most insurances now cover virtual care visits without a copay requirement.
Please call our office at (847) 428-1179 to schedule a virtual (video) care visit with Dr. Maw for any reasons including the following (for a more extensive list, please see our FAQs at the bottom of this email):
- Your child has a fever, cough, or cold
- You have concerns regarding your child's potential exposure to the Covid-19 virus
- You have questions or concerns regarding your child's immediate, non-emergency health issues
Please note that you will need access to a computer with a webcam, or mobile phone with video call capabilities in order to conduct the virtual care visit. The preferred method of conducting our virtual appointments is using Google Meet.

A.1) The costs of a virtual doctor visit are identical to those of an in-person visit.

A.3) You will need to have access to a computer or mobile device with a working camera and microphone. You will also need a clear, strong internet connection Our preferred virtual appointment method is Google Meet.

A.4) Yes. Your doctor can prescribe medication as needed after a virtual care visit.
